Q’s Nuts is a small family-owned & operated artisan nut company started by husband and wife team, Beth and Brian “Q” Quinn. It was founded in 2000 with the simple philosophy that wholesome ingredients, a love of good food, and a passion for creating in the kitchen would create some of the best tasting roasts around. Q’s Nuts are only made in small batches with the finest ingredients, always assuring a fresh quality product. Our line of sweet, savory, and exotic flavors are inspired by meals enjoyed, places visited, and closely held family recipes.
Peanuts- Flaming Hot: A spicy salted nut with a hint sesame. Sesame oil, sea salt, and hot chillies.
Almonds- Mexican Chocolate: Rich, dark, organic stone ground chocolate with cinnamon and vanilla. Cinnamon has been paired with chocolate since the Aztecs and is a popular pairing in Mexico to this day. This spice intensifies the richness of the chocolate flavor along with the vanilla bringing a sweetness to the roast. Dark chocolate, raw organic cane sugar, pure Madagascar vanilla & cinnamon.
Cashews- Lemongrass w/ Seasalt: Fresh Lemongrass traditionally used in curries and often tea, give a fresh lemony zing to most dishes. We combine it with a few other spices to give this savory nut it's fresh citrus favor in a mildly salted nut roasted with the perfect crunch. Virgin olive oil, sea salt, lemongrass and other spices.
Cashews-Garlic Basil Sage: A trio of spices make this flavor unique. A bit more flavorful than a regular salted nut, but mild enough to please the less adventurous palette. Great as a snack, on salads or on a cheese board. Try grinding it and using as a coating for chicken or fish. Virgin olive oil, sea salt, garlic basil and sage.
Almonds- Coquito: Coquito, which means “little coconut” in Spanish is a Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. This is our take on this traditional cocktail. The sweetness of fresh, chewy coconut and rum with the crunch of almonds is a coconut lover’s dream. Rum, coconut, raw organic cane sugar and a hint of seasonal spices.
Almonds- Chocolate Orange Cardamom: Rich dark chocolate infused with fresh orange peel and ground cardamom. Cardamom, a spice in the ginger family and used in many different cultures in their cuisine, adds a pungent and distinct flavor to both sweet and savory foods. Stone ground organic dark chocolate, raw organic cane sugar, fresh orange peel, and ground cardamom.
Walnuts- Winter Solstice: Brandy, ginger, and other winter spices with bits of cranberry!
Pecans- Banana Foster: Inspired by the classic and decadent New Orleans dessert made famous at Brennan’s restaurant in the French Quarter. Rum, raw organic cane sugar, and real banana infuse the nut with a delicious and fruity taste. One of the most popular in our line and a favorite of Q himself. Always vegan and gluten free.
