Neighborhood Nights: Spotlight Shopping Party at Gifted | 5pm - 7pm Friday, February 21st, 2025

Story Time with Katie Parr
Saturday, March 1st | 11AM - 12PM
Please join us at Gifted for story time with local author, Katie Parr, as she reads her NEW book Ranger Rowan's Guide to Yellowstone National Park!
The story reading will begin at 11AM with a coloring activity to follow!

Celebrate this special occasion with fascinating facts, stunning landscapes, and the wonders of wildlife, all through the eyes of an expert ranger. Perfect for curious minds who love nature, history, and discovery!

Join resident Tea Sommelier, and just amazing person, Heather Butchy for this fun-for-all event. Sip on 6 different types of tea while Heather pours little bits of her vast knowledge about them into you with a Q&A and lots of laughs. Also included in your ticket are:
- A 5 pack of Teaser Sample Sized Teas of your choice to take home.
- Charcuterie and Snacks
- An extra tasting of 5 more teas, including some of the more interesting and fun types we carry.
- A cup of hot or iced tea of your choice while you hang out & shop.
Classes run $35 a person. There are limited seats available so grab your tickets now.
Ask about private classes or other time slots, should we be full. Class runs at least 2 hours in total, but we always run over because we are having so much fun! Children into listening & learning for at least an hour in a seated classroom setting are welcome. Tell us what else you'd like for tea classes and we will se what we can do!
Heather Butchy - Tea Sommelier
Heather is a certified tea specialist with over a decade of experience in the industry. From education via the World Tea Academy to independent research on tea cultivar, terroir, and blending, Heather has built her knowledge on a foundation well-established by her simple love for a shared pot.
A English teacher by day, she imparts her passion for the beverage with hands-on education. “Tea is a social beverage consumed among countless cultures…and the best way to learn more about tea is to enjoy it while talking about it.”
When she is not enjoying a cuppa at home or at Gifted, you can find her hard at work with her awesome seventh graders at Shenango Area School District.
